With the launch of $ziot, we are hitting the ground running and moving towards getting a few core pieces of the project online. In this post we will discuss what they are and their estimated launch dates.
We are currently working on the following projects:
- $ziot Farming
- Early Access Launch puzzle
- Minting the First Edition series of the Vulnerability NFTs
$ziot Farming
Pending the smart contract and website completion, the anticipated launch date for the liquidity staking farm is this coming weekend (March 27, 2021)
A portion of the incentive funds for $ziot will be used as farming rewards. An initial supply of 50,000 $ziot will be allocated to incentivize liquidity staking during a trial period lasting 30 days.
After this initial trial period, we will assess the state of the farm. Barring any unforeseen events, the farm rewards will be renewed for another 30 days and continue until the foreseeable future.
More information on this will be in a separate Medium post upon the farming launch.
Early Access Launch Puzzle
The Early Access puzzle is currently projected to launch on 4/9.
Anyone can access the puzzle and participate, but only people who hold the early access NFTs will be able to complete parts required to finish the puzzle.
The puzzle is rated at a higher difficulty level and will require some knowledge of ciphers to complete it. If you want to get an idea of types of things you might see, you can check out the following puzzle write-ups:

There is a prize of 1% of the $ziot supply that is charged to two different NFTs. Access to the $ziot coin inside of these NFTs is slowly accessible over a period of 3–12 months to protect the LP.
The Vulnerability NFTs
As part of the core economic loop of this project, bug bounty funds received from certain vulnerabilities by ziot and collaborators will be directed into the $ziot liquidity pool. From time-to-time, vulnerability reports will be minted as NFTs and sold to enthusiasts and collectors. A portion of the proceeds from the NFT sales will be directed back to the $ziot liquidity pool and used to support artists as well as other initiatives to benefit the visibility of the project specifically and add to the spread of security knowledge generally.
NFT Specs
The vulnerability NFTs contain the following traits:
- Vulnerability ID: Each NFT will have a vulnerability identifier associated with it.
- Rarity: Ranging from Common to Legendary, this stat gives an idea of what type of report the NFT contains. A legendary vuln NFT may contain an extensive write-up, have a video that explains the vulnerability, and was associated with something truly epic. A common vulnerability, while still usually interesting, will likely contain less text and information.
- Series: Vulnerability NFTs will be sold in series. The initial series will be ‘First Edition,’ but future series will be used to as a theme. For example, we may do a crypto-specific series. Or a series of vulnerability NFTs that are specific to types of vulnerabilities.
First Edition
The initial vulnerability NFTs are going to be minted as “First Edition”. This is limited to 18 NFTs.
Starting on 4/9/21, the first vuln NFTs will be listed for bid on Opensea. Starting price point is still TBD. The NFTs listed will be:
- 1 Legendary Vuln NFT
- 2 Rare Vuln NFT
- 3 Common Vuln NFT
Each NFT will provide access to a unique vulnerability report.
Report Access
On 4/9, the website will have a new button to connect with Metamask. Vulnerability NFT holders will be able to connect to their wallets, see the reports they have access to, and read the reports.
The Larger Picture:
Once this initial roadmap is completed, we look towards the future of the project. Here are some ideas that are not locked in but that we are thinking about:
- Collaboration with developers and artists to come up with unique art to go with Vulnerability NFTs.
- Expanding beyond only ziot’s vulnerabilities by bringing in new hackers to mint vulnerability NFTs with their reports.
- A security challenge platform that teaches you the basics of security and comes with $ziot incentives for completing them. Accessible to vulnerability NFT and $ziot holders.
- Working with a puzzle company to come up with physical puzzles such as challenge coins that come with the purchase of certain NFT series. Prizes and incentives with the physical puzzles.
